After graduating from college with a degree in Speech and Theater, I started
working for Muncie Civic Theaters and later for IUPUI College Theater
Department in Indianapolis, IN. Over a ten-year period, I acted, directed, and
designed sets and lighting for theater productions, such as Jesus Christ Superstar,
Camelot, Three Musketeers, and Wait until Dark.
After that I changed careers and entered the field of sales. When I retired, I
wanted to return to the theater which led me to performing a Mark Twain show.
Then the pandemic hit, and I stopped in-person shows.
I was participating in a zoom bible study during the pandemic and became
fascinated with how God used imperfect people to carry out his plans. This led me
to the character of the apostle Peter, the perfect example of an imperfect man.
Peter the Rock is my portrayal of a man to whom we can all relate.
