Youth programming is dedicated to providing art programs for the young people of
Lake City.
The Arts Center hosts annual summer youth art camps for kids, and we are working
on involving youth in our other programs in other ways, including inviting young people
to take part in visual arts shows and the theatre.
If you are interested in helping out with the youth committee, or if you have an idea for
youth programming, email chairperson Carol Robinson, or call 970-944-2706.
Youth Art Camps
Held every summer, Youth Art Camps are open for children and young adults to
encourage and nurture their creative development. These intensive and fun camps are
held each day for one week unless otherwise noted. Scholarships are available to
Lake City Community School students in need. Space is limited. Classes are filled
on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of payment.

The annual Juried Arts & Crafts Show is held every July in historic Lake City, drawing
over 85 vendors and thousands of visitors to Silver Street and the Town Park.
